Coffee & Chat on Zoom

Status:Active, open to new members
When: Weekly on Thursday mornings
10:15 for 10:30 start until 11:30 am
Venue: By Zoom

Our Coffee & Chat on Zoom sessions are held weekly every Thursday morning from 10.30 am to 11.30 am, but we recommend you log in earlier at 10.15 am. Just make yourself a coffee or tea and then join in on Zoom from home (or wherever else in the world you happen to be!) for a chance for a very informal chat and to raise any topic which you think may be of interest, or talk about local news, or show us what you or any groups you are in have been doing, or to talk about anything else!

Please note: Although our meetings are held every week, you do not need to attend every week! Just join us whenever you want to.

They are open to all u3a members and there is no limit on numbers. New members always welcome! Just join us on Zoom at these times - the Zoom connection details are the same every week and are usually sent to Group members by email the day before.

An example of what we share is when Sheila Haycox showed us a wonderful collection of her very creative Audio Visuals (AVs) to us in January 2025. You can see all of these on our u3a YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@exmouthu3a/playlists

Then in February 2026 Margaret Mackintosh gave a fascinating presentation all about the 7-day study visits she arranged to The Gambia from 1992-2005 for Primary B.Ed. geography students at University of Plymouth, Exmouth campus, and for Devon and Dorset primary teachers. We have also put this onto our own u3a YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@exmouthu3a. This means that other
u3a members can look at this at any time. You can see it from our u3a YouTube Home page, or by clicking or tapping on the image below or here - https://youtu.be/oiSn5Rs9EEk
